Kevin O’Dwyer’s sculpture commission to celebrate the Sixth World Archaeology Conference was recently installed on the Belfield campus of University College Dublin.
Earlier this month SOMA art space in Waterford hosted an exhibition of street art inspired work. The artists Lewis Quinn and Kastro have a background in street art in their respective home towns of Waterford and Dublin.
Anna Spalek Mlynarczk first solo show in Ireland ” Inspired by Kilkenny ” opened recently at the William Street Gallery in Kilkenny. The Lord Mayor of Kilkenny Malcom Noonan officially opened the exhibition.
Last month saw the opening of a solo exhibiton of paintings by Adrienne Finnerty. The exhibition is entitled “A Colourful Life” and is inspired by travel through Africa, Asia and South America. Tonight (Thursday 2nd July) saw the opening of the 11th Annual Exhibition of 30 Artists in Knox Hall in Monkstown, Co. Dublin. The exhibition continues until Sunday with the following opening hours: Friday 3rd July 10.00 – 8.00pm Saturday 4th July 10.00 – 8.00pm Sunday 5th July 10.00 – 4.30pm
