‘Between the Lines’, an exhibition of life drawings by artist Patricia Casey, is currently taking place at the Phoenix Park Visitor Centre (Ashtown Castle), Dublin. The exhibition was opened by Cynthia Ní Mhurchú, former Chair of Éigse, Carlow Arts Festival. The exhibition runs until Friday the 30th October and is open daily from 10.00 a.m….

David Daly’s exhibition “Where Birds Abound” opened last Saturday at the Wexford Wildfowl Reserve in Ardcavan. The show features a selection of his recently completed oil paintings as well as his renowned watercolours. It is part of the Wexford Opera Festival programme of events. Last Friday saw the opening of an exhibition in the Lyndsay Gallery Monkstown featuring works by Gerard Dillon, Brain Ballard, George Campbell, Fergus o’ Ryan, Hans Iten, Roy Lyndsay, Darko, Dave west, Ruthie Ashenhurst, Rick Bentham, Andrew Hood, Patrick Cahill and Heidi Wickham. The exhibition continues till the end of October.
Last Thursday the 1st October, Powerscourt Gallery hosted an artist talk by award-winning director, animator and artist Jimmy T. Murakami. Murakami who attended the renowned Chouinard Art Institute in California, spoke to a packed gallery about his life as an artist and specifically about pieces of his artwork which were on show in the gallery. …
