Last Thursday saw the opening of an exhibition of new works by Ronan O’Reilly entitled ‘Liathróidí – Ireland’s Heroes and Anti Heroes’. The show was opened by Mary Lou McDonald TD, VP Sinn Féin.
The show celebrates the heroic actions of mythic Irish figures, keeping in mind their intrinsic link to more contemporary figures of history in a year of considerable importance concerning reflection and national identity…
The exhibition continues in Origin Gallery, 37 Fitzwilliam St. Upper, Dublin 2 until 6th December.
