If you ever wanted to learn how to make your own picture frames using specialist equipment now is your chance. From Saturday 12th October 2013, The Irish School of Picture Framing is running one day “Learn to Frame It Yourself” classes. The class will run from 10am until 4pm each Saturday and refreshments will be served. A maximum of four people will attend each class. The cost of the day will be €145.00 (plus VAT @23%) which includes all the materials to make one frame which is yours to bring home.
Martin Deasy who has over 25 years experience of the picture frame business will be presenting the workshop. Martin was formerly Managing Director of Sisslings Mouldings.

There is also a shop (open only Saturdays) selling the picture framing equipment (as used on course) and all sorts of Picture Framing materials and accessories in small quantities, at very reasonable prices.
