This awards programme is open to penultimate year and final year students, as well as recent graduates of art, craft, and design.
The Prize
The shortlist of highly commended undergraduate students will be selected to display and sell their work at a UA exhibition in Dublin in November, curated by KTcontemporary, as part of the international UA Summit 2012.
On top of this, the winning artist will:
- Be acknowledged as the top Irish undergraduate student in Creative Arts 2012.
- Receive their medal of recognition from the President of Ireland, Michael D. Higgins.
- Have their portfolio published.
- Partake in three days of activities and events with students from across the globe at the UA Summit.
To enter, individuals must simply submit the portfolio of their coursework and a brief artist statement to undergraduateawards.com before July 2nd.
