Dublin Contemporary 2011 was launched yesterday (September 5th) at the exhibition’s HQ on Earlsfort Terrace next door to the NCH.
Responding to the theme Terrible Beauty—Art, Crisis, Change & The Office of Non-Compliance, and led by curators Jota Castro and Christian Viveros-Fauné, the exhibition presents the work of more than 100 of the world’s most exciting artists, whose artworks will establish Dublin as the destination to discover the latest in Irish and international contemporary art.
The event continues until October 31st in the following venues:
- Earlsfort Terrace
- The Douglas Hyde Gallery
- Dublin City Gallery The Hugh Lane
- National Gallery of Ireland
- The Royal Hibernian Academy.
