Master Art Classes – The Art of Painting & Drawing

Based over four weeks, Wednesdays 7pm-10pm, limited to 12 persons per class
Venue – The Lyndsay Gallery, Monkstown, Co Dublin
Classes start with a demonstration by the Artist, followed by personal tuition .
1st week – ‘ Starting your painting ‘
This class covers how both past and present Artists make that vital first step.
2nd week -‘ Composition and Perspective ‘
Covering all aspects of good composition and how to apply perspective in drawing an painting
3rd week – ‘ Colour ‘
Colour is one of the most important elements in art, so the mixing of paints and the theory of good colour is explained .
4th week. ‘ Bring it all together.’
How and when to finish your painting and present it.
End of Course – ‘Group Exhibition’
On the Sunday afternoon from 2pm-6pm a Group Exhibition of the classes work, together with the Gallery’s Artists will be held. Here you will have an opportunity to invite family & Friends, normal Gallery conditions apply.
An easel and seat will be supplied for the classes, a range of art equipment can be purchased from the Gallery.
All four classes cost 150 euros, single class 50 euros, (bookings for full course given priority).
