There was a queue down the street for the opening of the Bad Art Gallery Unselected show last Thursday (14th May). For the fourth year, an exhibition of art-work not selected for the RHA Annual Exhibition goes on show at the Bad Art Gallery on Francis Street, Dublin 8. The idea behind the exhibit is to partly boost the fragile confidence of artists and to show the public the art that is not selected by the RHA Academy, very similar to the ‘The Salon des Refuses’. The opening was performed by ex Taoiseach Bertie Ahern.
The exhibition continues until th June.
