The light of which I speak is a unique collaboration between painter Padraig McCaul and songwriter Will Merriman.  The exhibition opened last Thursday February 19th at The Bad Art Gallery, 79 Francis Street,  Dublin 8. The exhibition runs until March 19th with live performances every Saturday from 1-2pm in the gallery from the band.

‘Talk yourself into the picture’ by Damien Cody opened last Thursday in Gallery 53.  The opening was performed by Philomena Lynott, mother of Phil Lynott. The exhibition continues until the end of March.

Canopy of Light – an exhibition of oil paintings by Ann Brennan launched on 6th February in the Craft Granary, Cahir, co. Tipperary.  The exhibition was officially opened by Dr. Niall Gregory, Founder of Cashelised Arts Movement. The exhibition runs until 26th February.

Friday 30th January saw the opening of  “Of The Essence”, a collection of new works by Dutch born, Galway based artist Marja van Kampen. The exhibition opened in the Kenny Gallery which recently relocated to its new home in the Liosbán Retail Park on the Tuam Road.  The exhibition continues until 19th February.

Mark and Kenneth Buckley of Buckley Fine Art launched their new Fine Art Gallery at Convent Road, Clonakilty, West Cork on Saturday 31st January.
