The former Gate Lodge at St. Nathy’s College, Ballaghaderreen, Co. Roscommon has been transformed into a coffee house and art gallery.
The inaugauration of this protected structure took place on the 20th December 2008. This Welcome Centre of St. Nathy’s College was blessed by Bishop Flynn, opened by John O’Mahony GAA County Manager, and Margaret Garvey told the story of the Gate Lodge and history of Cathedral Street as it was in the early 1950s.
