A joint debut exhibition by Scottish artist, Stephanie Rew and Dublin-based painter, Niall Toolan opened last Thursday in the Oisin Gallery on Westland Row, Dublin. The exhibition features portraits and still life paintings influenced by tradition and Flemish Baroque style. The exhibition continues until Saturday, 25th April.
A great night was had in the Crow Gallery, Temple Bar, on Wednesday 15th April. The opening of ‘Mindscapes’, (new paintings by Vauney Strahan), drew a formidable crowd. This exhibition runs until 25th April.
An exhibition of new work by Margo Banks opened last week at The United Arts Club. Margo’s son Daniel Soro, played the guitar. The opening was performed by Nell McCafferty. The exhibition continues until April 21st.
This exhibition of paintings by Olive Stack, Ella Kavanagh and Eoin de Leastar opened last Thursday. The show was opened by Mr. Joe Crockett, Kilkenny County Manager and it runs until Saturday 18th April 2009.
The inaugural group show by Kult Pulp Production opened in Belfast this week. Kult Pulp Production consists of professional artists from different specialties within the art profession, such as textile design, graffiti, photography, sculpture, sound, printing and paint. The show is curated by local international artist Liam Breandán de Frinse and continues until May 2nd.
